View from Thalia over Levrekio beach and
across to the Greek mainland
Thalia, named like its sister villas after one of the Greek muses, is
the second of the three new luxury villas occupying a magnificent
position on the edge of the village of Loggos. Like its sisters, it has
fine views from the terraces and windows over the Paxos coast and all
the way across the Ionian to the mainland, and partial views can also be
enjoyed from the villa’s private pool to the side.
One
of three new villas constructed on land belonging to the Manor House, an
old family house overlooking the entrance to Loggos bay, Thalia stands
at the northeastern end of the plot and has a small private parking area
on the same level as the house.

The
villa is reached from this parking area and the entrance is to the side
of the property. The front door leads directly into a large living-room
which, while equipped with all amenities, is designed and furnished in
a way that creates a free and open feel. The front of the room takes
the form of sliding picture windows and French doors which both lead
onto the terrace garden and display the stunning views across the Ionian
which are an outstanding feature of these properties.

There
is also a
state-of-the-art, fully fitted kitchen, with windows looking out on to
the trees and flowerbeds behind. Also from the rear of the main room, a
staircase leads up to the first floor and the two bedrooms.
Here, the views to the front are even more spectacular, and there can
hardly be a villa in Greece in which you can wake to such a stunning
prospect. Each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom as well as
air-conditioning and a private balcony with table and chairs.

The
outside areas at Thalia match the quality of the interior. To the front
of the villa is a spacious, sea-facing terrace and garden with wooden
furniture for al fresco dining, while behind and to the side of the
house is the swimming pool area with comfortable sunbeds, sun umbrellas
and gardens. Safety railings make the pool suitable for small children
and, except for guests at Kleio, the next door villa, occasionally
passing by, the pool enjoys complete privacy.

Access to Thalia is from the road below, the lane that leads down into
Loggos from Fontana, and with the elevated position of the villa there
is no doubt a car can be useful, as the walk up to the house is quite
steep. However, a car is certainly not needed to reach either the beach
or the nearby tavernas, with Levrechio and Marmari beaches respectively
four and ten minutes’ walk away and the village shops and tavernas five
minutes on foot in the other direction.

Nearest Beaches
It is about a 4 minute walk to Levrekio Beach with its taverna and a
further 5 minutes walk will bring you to Marmari
beach a very pretty option along the coast.

Levrekio beach, very close to Loggos
village.
There is a taverna at the back of the beach.

Marmari beach just a further 5 minutes
walk beyond Levrekio
Nearest Village: LOGGOS
Villa Thalia is close to the village of Loggos - about 5 minutes walk.
"Loggos is the smallest of the three main villages on Paxos,
an enchanting, graceful old fishing port on the northeast coast. With its pastel-shaded
buildings huddled around the harbour, it combines relative remoteness with an adequate
range of facilities, providing an idyllic centre for holidays throughout the season."
