MOUTHOURIA is one of Halki’s great antique houses, once the home
of the Turkish governor of Halki.
The original painted ceiling is well
preserved and is the main feature of the saloni, which is furnished
in a comfortably formal style and has a double sofa-bed. The other focal
point is the large furnished balcony, which affords a wonderful view of
the whole harbour. Tradition combined with comfort continues in the
bedrooms – a double and a twin. A well-equipped kitchenette (with
microwave and coffee maker) leading off the living room, and a shower
room, complete the accommodation, which can sleep up to 6.
The height and design of the house has meant a fairly narrow, steep
staircase to the apartment. This is approached across the furnished
downstairs patio, which is also included.
Location: The house is located in
the centre of the harbour, close to the shops, tavernas and bars.
Accommodation: Stay in this elegant
and spacious apartment for four, a short ascent from the central harbour-front
of Emborio. The large and comfortably furnished living-room (or ‘saloni’
in Greek), features a stunning antique painted ceiling and leads onto a
good-sized balcony with sweeping views of the harbour.
The accommodation, which sleeps up to six, also includes two bedrooms, a
well-equipped kitchenette, a shower room with WC and a furnished terrace
on the ground floor.

PRICES:
These charges are for the rental of the house. Bookings of a week or
longer will be rounded down, e.g. August week 600€ not 630€. For this
year, no variation of charges is made in relation to the number of
people in occupancy.

Maid service is twice a week, with the
major clean normally on a Wednesday and a shorter visit, normally on
Saturday, when towels will be changed. These times will be adjusted if
you arrive on other days than the normal Wednesday transfer day.
