Tucked away behind Nicoletta is Katina Studio, one of several properties
in the area owned by local Paxiot Katina. This charming little white and
yellow painted cottage suits a couple wanting a private location close
to the sea and with access to the beaches. Marmari beach is a few
minutes walk down a rough, stony path. Two couples might be interested
in hiring both Katina Studio and Nicoletta as there is also a path round
the back that links them both.
A
car is recommended as the property is a short drive down a track from
the road to Loggos. Parking is outside the property or opposite on the
other side of the track.
Katina Studio can be reached through the garden gate and up a path lined
with Mediterranean plants in pots tended by Katina. The garden is large
with plenty of shade from the many olive trees. Even in the hottest
summer months there is often a cooling breeze off the sea. Recent
improvements to the garden include new garden furniture under the trees
and the addition of a parasol on the paved terrace in front of the
house. There is a table and comfortable chairs on the terrace for al
fresco dining.
The
little house is simply furnished in typical Greek style with a
living/dining room and kitchen, double bedroom and separate shower room,
recently retiled with a new shower cabin.
Accommodation
(On one
floor) Door leads into the open plan kitchen/living room with door off
into the shower room and the other way into the double bedroom. The
extensive gardens have areas to sit out and enjoy the views and the
tranquility.
Nearest Beaches
It is a 2 minute walk to Marmari, and a bit further to Kipos in one
direction and Levrekio in the other. Loggos is
a 15 minute walk away.
There are further beaches only a short drive away on the way to Lakka or Gaios.

Katina Studio, Marmari is close to the village of Loggos - about 15 minutes walk.
