Villa Ionia is
situated in very quiet area, only 1 to 1.5 km from the centre of Gaios,
the main village and capital of Paxos, where you will find tavernas,
cafés, bars and shops. The villa has the sea on one side, and the road
from Gaios to Lakka on the other. The site lies just over a small
almost private beach, which has been naturally created between some
rocks. If you need a bigger beach, you just have to go another 200m
down the road, where you will find another one, and a bit further on
another one, etc. We would recommend using some kind of transport to
carry your belongings, shopping etc. even though it is not absolutely
necessary. The shops are only 10-15 minutes away on foot and the
seaside road that leads to Gaios is quite pleasant and very safe. The
building is constructed in the shape of an amphitheatre on top of
rocks, overlooking the waves of the open sea and the coastline of
mainland Greece.
The villa can
accommodate 8-10 persons with ease (more beds available if needed).
The philosophy behind the building is to provide privacy and
independence to all residents. Accordingly, each of the five luxury
bedrooms has its own bathroom and balcony with view at the sea. There
are two fully equipped kitchens, and two living rooms. Moreover, the
building can be divided into two totally autonomous spaces if
necessary, which we call the ‘Ionia Studio’ (smaller one) and ‘Ionia
Villa’ (bigger one).
Nearest Beaches
There is swimming off the rocks below the property and then a short walk
of about 5-15 minutes to three Paxiot Beaches.
