Iapetos is a completely new hotel which
has just opened in Yialos, the harbour area of Symi. It is called a
hotel village because the accommodation takes the form of 25
neo-classical buildings set in a large semi-tropical garden and
surrounding a central swimming pool. The buildings contain 19
maisonettes and six studios, each air-conditioned, with full
self-catering facilities, satellite TV and either balcony or terrace.
General hotel facilities include wireless internet access, a bar, a sun
terrace with complimentary sun loungers, towels and parasols in addition
to the pool, which is a considerable rarity on Symi (there are only two
others on the island!).
The hotel’s location is as convenient as possible, just 50 yards from
the main square of Symi and 100 yards from the harbourside with its
shops and tavernas. Stays at the hotel are for a minimum of 3 nights and
are on a bed & breakfast basis.
