Villa Garnelis is
located in the sought after northeastern corner of Corfu, close to the
picturesque old fishing village of Aghios Stephanos and nearby Kerasia
beach. Within a short drive are a selection of other beaches along the
north coast and the small town of Kassiopi. Garnelis is a modern house
built to the highest specifications, fully air-conditioned, boasting a
large garden with swimming pool, jacuzzi and marble BBQ for al fresco
eating. There are fine views of the Albanian mountains to the east and
the slopes of Mount Pantokrator to the west.
On the first floor is a majestic master bedroom with a full en-suite
bathroom with shower and bath. Two further bedrooms, both twin, share a
second bathroom. All the bedrooms have balconies, two with views to the
sea, and are air-conditioned.
Downstairs, a spacious, open-plan sitting-dining room is furnished with
comfortable sofa and armchairs, a dining table with six places, and an
open fireplace. From this room a door leads into a superb fully-fitted
kitchen with all modern appliances. There is a guest cloakroom on the
ground floor and the sitting room is equipped with satellite TV and
telephone for local calls.
But you may not be enjoying the TV very much, as outside the garden
beckons, with its large, mosaic-inlaid main swimming pool (11m x 5m),
jacuzzi pool (3m x 4m) and marble built barbecue with garden table and
chairs, all perfect for al fresco living.
Garnelis is a short drive to the little coastal village of Aghios
Stephanos, with its harbourside tavernas and cafes, and a 10-15 minute
walk to the blue flag beach of Kerasia. There is a well-stocked
mini-market a short stroll from the villa, and the road to Kassiopi and
the sandy beaches of the north coast is reached in a couple of minutes.
