FOTINI'S COTTAGE Accommodation: Sleeps 2+2
Fotini’s Cottage
is a traditional Symi house built in 1923 and recently renovated.
Located in the quiet, almost rural area of Petalo between the village
and the port, the garden and terrace enjoy wonderful views over the
harbour area and out to sea. The cottage is a 15 minute walk from the
harbour and a 3-4 minute walk from the nearest bus stop.
Inside, Fotini
comprises a traditional sitting room with double sofabed, a spacious
double bedroom, separate well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower.
Outside, Fotini possesses a real rarity on Symi, a cottage garden with
luxuriant green lawn. Shade is provided by a scattering of trees and a
large umbrella, and the tremendous views can also be enjoyed from a
private terrace.
Fotini’s cottage
occupies the lower level of the two-storey house. The upper is the home
of the owners, Takis and Tina, who are unobtrusive but very hospitable
hosts.
