An old village house which has been
undergoing steady refurbishment in recent years, Villa Aglaia is
situated in a superb hillside position just a minute's walk from the
village of Loggos and two minutes from the nearest beach. Reached by
a steep flight of steps (75 in all) from the road, the house and
terrace enjoy commanding views of Loggos bay and the sea beyond.
The upper floor of the house is
divided into two parts, a two-bedroom apartment (the Villa) and a
one-bedroom apartment (the studio). They provide separate
accommodation, each with its own entrance, but can be taken together
by a larger party. The owner (Aglaia herself!) lives unobtrusively
below on the ground floor.
Villa Aglaia has one double bedroom
and one twin, both air-conditioned and both with balconies facing
the sea. Behind the front bedrooms is a good-sized kitchen/dining
room, enhanced by a shiny new wood-block floor and with a table
comfortably seating four, and a shower room. Outside, twenty steps
down from the house, is the terrace, which is for the private use of
guests in the main apartment (the studio has its own separate
patio). Here the wonderful sea views can be enjoyed from a position
part-shaded by the spreading branches of an old olive tree, and
surrounded by Aglaia’s well-tended flower garden. The terrace has a
stone table and seating for six or more.

Nearest Beaches
There is a small beach below the property and a short walk to the
village beach in one direction and Levrekio Beach with its taverna in
the other direction. Another 5 minutes walk will bring you to Marmari
beach a very pretty option along the coast.
