Skip Navigation Links
Set amidst lovely pine woodland just above the little port of Sami, this stunning modern two-bedroom villa with private pool and lovely gardens enjoys an outstanding location with superb views of the surrounding hillsides and sea views over Sami Bay to Ithaka.

On the ground floor there is a light and spacious open-plan lounge/dining area with elegant modern furnishings, a plasma TV and DVD player. Adjacent to the dining area is a sleek Italian open kitchen with granite work surfaces, a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, built-in oven and ceramic hob. From both the dining area and the lounge patio doors open on to a wide covered dining terrace with lovely panoramic views over the gardens and swimming pool down the valley towards Sami. There is also a shower room.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each of which has a smart en suite bath or shower room and patio doors opening on to its own private balcony, from where at night the myriad of lights both in Sami below and in the surrounding hillside villages can be seen twinkling.

The villa is surrounded by well-tended gated gardens with flowering shrubs, citrus trees and neatly mown lawns. The gardens are all on one level and are not overlooked, even though there are a few other villas in the area. There is a lovely tiled swimming pool (8m x 4 m, depth 0.8m - 1.5m) surrounded by wide sunbathing terraces and, for chilling out around the pool, sun loungers, a bamboo sofa and chairs, together with a double hammock for the ultimate in comfort. A stone-built barbecue house provides an alternative outside dining area.

It is only a five-minute drive down into Sami, where numerous tavernas and cafés line the water front, a prime position for sipping a cooling drink, watching the sailing boats come and go and checking that the ferries are running on schedule. Numerous pebble beaches, including the beautiful Antisamos Bay, and Lake Melissani are just a few minutes further away; Drogararti Cave is even closer.
