Dendiatika Cottage (Nr Loggos) Sleeps 1-4
Skip Navigation Links
Dendiatika Cottage is a traditional stone-built two-bedroom cottage with outdoor jacuzzi and sea views, suitable for a couple or small family. It is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Dendiatika, just a 10-minute walk from the picturesque village of Loggos and from the nearest beach.

The accommodation, which has beautiful traditional wooden ceilings, is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with a fireplace and open kitchen, and a modern shower room. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a second sleeping area with bunk beds suitable for children. From here, doors lead out on to a large well-furnished covered terrace with far-reaching views across the Ionian to Corfu and the Greek mainland. On the lower level there is a furnished patio ideal for al fresco dining and a large jacuzzi for cooling off in the summer heat.

The original Greek name of the cottage, Lathe Viosas, is taken from the philosophy of Epicurus and means a life lived unobtrusively and in tranquillity. Dendiatika Cottage certainly lives up to its Greek name, offering its guests a restful retreat, but one which is at the same time still within easy walking distance of the shops, tavernas and bars of the village of Loggos. Glyfada beach is less than a 10-minute walk and there are several other beaches (including Marmari and Levrechio, which are considered by many to be among the best on the island) a 15-minute walk away just to the south of Loggos. The larger village of Lakka and further beaches are just a few minutes’ drive.

Dendiatika Cottage is in a good area for walkers, as footpaths to the interesting area around the Byzantine church at Ypapanti and to the dramatic views of the west coast start from relatively nearby.
