Mimika is a two-bedroom village house with sea views in a great position close to the centre of Loggos. Now completely renovated, it offers a wonderful base for a couple, small family or group of friends who like everything within easy reach. The restaurants, cafes and shops are two minutes’ walk from the house and the nearest beach is under ten minutes away on foot.

Mimika was in our programme for many years before the owner decided she needed it for her own use. She has now not only refurbished the whole interior but added an upper floor, including a spacious sea-facing terrace which provides a very relaxing spot from which to enjoy the sea views and the comings and goings of the boats in Loggos harbour. Inside, there are two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, the twin on the ground floor and the double upstairs. The new kitchen/dining-room is also on the first floor and it is from this room that doors open onto the wide terrace that faces the sea. The double bedroom also has French windows leading to a smaller balcony and the windows of both bedrooms are fitted with mosquito screens.

Loggos is the smallest of Paxos’s three coastal villages and is known for its picturesque harbour and relaxed pace of life. The local bus linking the main villages passes through Loggos two or three times a day in each direction and there are small motor boats available for daily hire from the harbour. So it is not difficult to explore the rest of this tiny island paradise from Loggos, even without a car. That said, many Loggos regulars are reluctant to stir from their favourite village. With everything on their doorstep, two beaches within easy walking distance and another two slightly further away, Loggos seems to provide all they need for the perfect holiday.
